Carter-Hazel & Associates, Incorporated (C-HA) was founded by Horace L. Carter in 2002 after 26 years of honorable service with the United States Navy and Military Sealift Command. While in the Navy, Horace attained the rank of Hospital Corpsman Senior Chief (Surface Warfare Specialist) with the designation of Independent Duty Corpsman (IDC), NEC 8425. He received numerous medals including the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal. After retiring from active duty, Horace served as a Medical Services Officer with the United States Military Sealift Command with medical responsibility commensurate with those duties of an IDC in the Navy.
